Join SAGE, PBS, and The Cognitive Research Center of NJ for a showing of the PBS documentary Fast-Forward, followed by an expert panel discussion led by the show’s Director, Michael Eric Hurtig.
Fast-Forward follows four families as they travel into their futures to take a proactive look at aging. The participants simulate being 85-years-old by wearing an MIT-produced “aging empathy suit” and working with professional make-up artists. The documentary will make you laugh, cry, and think about the aging process differently than you ever have before. It was also open the door to critical conversations about maximizing life choices and well-being at every stage of life.
