The CRCNJ is offering two exciting and innovative programs

A “Stroll Down Memory Lane” is a program for patients with varying degrees of memory impairment. Participants engage in storytelling activities by a facilitator from which a bound book of the participant’s stories will be given to them. Participants are encouraged to bring photos.

These 75-90 minutes sessions will be held at the Springfield CRCNJ.

Cost: $50

“Caring for the Caregiver” is a program that uses a storytelling approach to reflect on illness, the caring and the relationship with the patient, and life balance. This program addresses the needs of caregivers to be heard and valued. Participants will be introduced to a short text followed by a discussion about an aspect of caring. They will then have a short writing period in which to relay a personal experience relating to the topic.

Cost: $50

Both programs will be offered at the Springfield CRCNJ. Dates will be determined based on interest.

If you are interested in participating, please call Jean at 973-850-4622 to reserve. We will run these programs only based on interest.
